Phixmo is a one-person company right now. That person is me. We are not hiring yet, but here is where this is going and who I will be looking for as it grows.
I would rather be straight with you than post roles that do not exist. No openings today. But if any of the work below sounds like your kind of thing, I keep a list, and I would rather hire someone who found us early and got it.
I spent years doing the books for residential remodelers. The thing that stuck with me was watching solid crews run $300k jobs off spreadsheets, group texts, and a whiteboard in the office. Not because they were not smart. Because the software built for construction was either made for 200-person commercial firms or priced like it.
So I built Phixmo. Project management for small residential crews doing remodels, ADUs, and additions. Job costing, AI estimates and blueprint takeoffs, customer portals, and free field-crew seats, all in one place. It is live, it works, and I am onboarding founding customers now.
These are not open roles. This is the honest order I expect to grow in. The numbers are customer milestones, not dates.
We say what we mean. To customers, to each other, on this page. No corporate fog, no overpromising, no fake scarcity.
We build for residential GCs because we understand them. Everyone here should care about the people swinging the hammers, not just the software.
Lean, high-trust, high-ownership. You will not be a cog. Early hires shape the thing, not just maintain it.
We are an accounting-rooted company. We respect a dollar, we ship things that pay for themselves, and we expect the same mindset.
If any of this sounds like your kind of thing, drop me a line and tell me what caught your eye. No openings yet, but I read every note, and I keep a list.
